KASOL: TOP 10 Beautiful PlacesYou Must See Before You Die

My travelogue about Kasol was very exciting and unforgettable, I want to present it to all of you. You will be told every small and big thing in this journey from Delhi to Kasol so that when you go here, you can easily enjoy the beauty of nature by reaching here. The beauty of Himachal is famous all over the world. People here are crazy about the evenings falling in the high mountains.

Kasol, Himachal Pradesh

On hearing Kasol, such an image is presented in your mind, in which there is a gathering of many domestic and foreign tourists. But you can be a little wrong here because Kasol is a village, it is frequented by foreign tourists. This is an all-facilitated village with all the facilities of the city. Whether it is about the big branded showrooms or the beautiful shops built on Mall Road, they provide you with all kinds of facilities. The market of big hotels and things related to the village presents a unique confluence in itself. One feels that Kasol has both rural and urban life going on in the same place.

On winter days, the soft foamy snow falling from the sky adds to the beauty of this place. Along with high and low hills, many small and big waterfalls are also seen in Kasol. If you are a good highlander then Kasol is going to be a memorable experience for you.

The history of Kasol is also considered to be very old, so from the point of historical importance also, Kasol is one of the best places to visit in India.

This village situated on the banks of river Parvati in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh seems to be the most beautiful gift of nature. Parvati river is also known as Parvati Ghati. The nature of the residents here is also good, like the charming weather here. Kasol is the Hotspot for bag packers from all over the world. The maximum number of tourists visiting here are Israeli people, hence it is also known as Mini Israel.

Day 1st at New Delhi Station –

I had just reached Delhi from Gwalior with my three friends, it must have been around 10 in the morning. Friends, let me tell you that I and my three friends Shiv, Agni, and Vaibhav were thinking about going to Kasol for a long time but every time for some reason or the other our dream of going to Kasol remained unfulfilled. That’s why this time we decided to leave for Delhi directly without making any plans and took the train from Gwalior to Delhi without taking a ticket.

The fare to go from Gwalior to Delhi by train is around 250 INR, and for the general compartment, it is around 1500 Indian INR in rest sleeper and reservation. Gwalior is our home area and in a hurry, we started the journey without tickets. (The bus fare from Gwalior to Delhi is also around Rs 500 to 1400.)

As soon as we boarded the train, initially, we had to worry a bit because of the crowd in the general compartment, but gradually we found an open space near the gate of the general compartment and we all were so tired that we sat there.

That feeling of the sound of the train and the cold wind blowing directly on our faces from the gate of the compartment is one of my beautiful feelings. All four of us were feeling that cool air and peace without talking to each other. The journey passed by so quickly and we did not even know when it was 9 in the morning, but the train had already arrived in Delhi!

Travel from Delhi to Kasol

Kasol
Kasol

To reach Kasol from Delhi, we now had to travel by bus, which was going to be longer than we expected.

Note – The distance from Delhi to Kasol is 550 km. It takes about 14 to 15 hours to cover this long distance. Most of the buses from Delhi to Kasol meet at the Kashmere Gate bus stop.

By Air –

If you want, you can take a direct flight from Delhi to Kullu. Located a short distance from Kullu, “Bhuntar” is one of the beautiful places in Kullu. You can take a taxi or bus from Kullu airport to the Bhuntar bus stop. From where it is easiest to reach Kasol directly.

By Road –

Many direct buses are running away from Delhi to Kasol. There are all kinds of buses going to Kasol, if your budget is less than you can reach Kasol by any cheap bus. If you want to go on a bus with all the facilities, then you also get a Volvo bus. The bus fare from Delhi to Kasol ranges from Rs 1000 to Rs 2000. But if you want to take your taxi car, then you will have to pay a minimum fare of up to Rs 13000.

You can book a taxi online or offline from New Delhi Railway Station itself. Bus booking for Kasol can also be done online as well as offline. We had booked four seats on the bus offline after reaching Delhi.

By Train –

It may be that many people advise you to go to Kasol by train, but for your information, let us tell you that Kasol is a hilly area. At present, it is not possible for the train to run here due to the very high and steep hills. Although you can reach Joginder Nagar Railway Station, which is 124 km from Kasol, but the connectivity of this station with Delhi station is not that precise. My own advice is to travel by bus because the hilly roads are very dangerous and narrow, on which it is very difficult to drive any vehicle. Bus drivers of Himachal Pradesh have a special kind of skill, for them, it is a daily matter. Therefore, you can reach Kasol to a great extent safely by traveling on a bus.

Our journey from Delhi to Kasol started at around 7 am by bus. I glanced around the bus and took a long, satisfying breath. The bus was very comfortable and convenient.

As the bus was passing through the polluted environment of Delhi, the air was getting cooler and the environment was becoming pollution free. During the long journey, our bus stopped only once for dinner. Apart from the four of us, our bus was filled with a group of people from different parts of the country, mainly girls. There was a lot of enthusiasm among the people. Everyone was traveling in the dark of night enjoying the songs. The food at the restaurant where the bus stopped for dinner was very tasty. All four of us were very hungry and ate our fill without any delay. After eating, we had just lit a cigarette when the bus honked. Throwing away the cigarette half in haste, we boarded our bus back.

The feeling of reaching the high mountains from the tall buildings and the noise is completely unforgettable. There was no noise here, no pollution, silence hitting the mountains far away and the trees of Sanobar touching the horizon were visible. The drive from Delhi to Kasol is so mesmerizing, that you will not feel compelled to blink even for a moment.

The weather in Kasol is pleasant and pleasant for twelve months of the year. There is heavy snowfall in winter from December to February. If you want to enjoy snowfall by reaching Kasol in colder weather, then go between November to February. But if you want to freely enjoy the natural beauty and weather, then you can leave the winter months and go anytime.
